Žestoke borbe vodile su se u Kartumu u četvrtak dok je vojska pokušavala potisnuti paravojne Snage za brzu potporu (RSF) iz područja oko predsjedničke palače i vojnog stožera, a dugotrajni prekid vatre čini se nedostižnim.  

Čini se da se obje strane bore za kontrolu nad teritorijem u glavnom gradu prije bilo kakvih pregovora, iako su čelnici obje strane javno pokazali veoma malo volje za razgovor nakon više od dva tjedna borbi.

Žestoka bombardiranja također su odjekivala u susjednim gradovima Omdurman i Bahri.

U međuvremenu su Ujedinjeni narodi u srijedu izvršili pritisak na sudanske zaraćene strane da zajamče siguran prolaz humanitarne pomoći nakon što je šest kamiona opljačkano, a zračni napadi u glavnom gradu potkopali primirje.

Koordinator humanitarne pomoći UN-a Martin Griffiths rekao je da se nada da će imati sastanke licem u lice sa sudanskim zaraćenim stranama kroz dva do tri dana kako bi od njih dobio jamstva za siguran prolaz konvoja za isporuku humanitarne pomoći.

Humanitarna katastrofa

UN je upozorio da bi borbe između vojske i RSF-a, koja su izbile 15. travnja, mogle dovesti do humanitarne katastrofe koja bi se mogla proširiti i na druge zemlje. Sudan je u utorak priopćio da je do sada u sukobima poginulo 550 ljudi, a ranjeno 4926.

Oko 100 tisuća ljudi je pobjeglo iz Sudana s malo hrane i vode u susjedne zemlje, rekao je UN.

Vojska i RSF zajedno su srušili vladu u državnom udaru 2021., no sada se međusobno bore za vlast, čime su zaustavili proces tranzicije prema demokraciji i prijete destabilizacijom krhke regije.

RSF je optužio vojsku za kršenje primirja i napad na njegove snage od zore. Optužio je vojsku za ‘‘kukavički‘‘ napad stambenih četvrti topništvom i zrakoplovima.

Žestoke borbe vodile su se u Kartumu u četvrtak dok je vojska pokušavala potisnuti paravojne Snage za brzu potporu (RSF) iz područja oko predsjedničke palače i vojnog stožera, a dugotrajni prekid vatre čini se nedostižnim.  

Čini se da se obje strane bore za kontrolu nad teritorijem u glavnom gradu prije bilo kakvih pregovora, iako su čelnici obje strane javno pokazali veoma malo volje za razgovor nakon više od dva tjedna borbi.

Žestoka bombardiranja također su odjekivala u susjednim gradovima Omdurman i Bahri.

U međuvremenu su Ujedinjeni narodi u srijedu izvršili pritisak na sudanske zaraćene strane da zajamče siguran prolaz humanitarne pomoći nakon što je šest kamiona opljačkano, a zračni napadi u glavnom gradu potkopali primirje.

Koordinator humanitarne pomoći UN-a Martin Griffiths rekao je da se nada da će imati sastanke licem u lice sa sudanskim zaraćenim stranama kroz dva do tri dana kako bi od njih dobio jamstva za siguran prolaz konvoja za isporuku humanitarne pomoći.

Humanitarna katastrofa

UN je upozorio da bi borbe između vojske i RSF-a, koja su izbile 15. travnja, mogle dovesti do humanitarne katastrofe koja bi se mogla proširiti i na druge zemlje. Sudan je u utorak priopćio da je do sada u sukobima poginulo 550 ljudi, a ranjeno 4926.

Oko 100 tisuća ljudi je pobjeglo iz Sudana s malo hrane i vode u susjedne zemlje, rekao je UN.

Vojska i RSF zajedno su srušili vladu u državnom udaru 2021., no sada se međusobno bore za vlast, čime su zaustavili proces tranzicije prema demokraciji i prijete destabilizacijom krhke regije.

RSF je optužio vojsku za kršenje primirja i napad na njegove snage od zore. Optužio je vojsku za ‘‘kukavički‘‘ napad stambenih četvrti topništvom i zrakoplovima.

U Kartumu se vode žestoke bitke, Sudan je na rubu humanitarne katastrofe

Žestoke borbe vodile su se u Kartumu u četvrtak dok je vojska pokušavala potisnuti paravojne Snage za brzu potporu (RSF) iz područja oko predsjedničke palače i vojnog stožera, a dugotrajni prekid vatre čini se nedostižnim.  

Čini se da se obje strane bore za kontrolu nad teritorijem u glavnom gradu prije bilo kakvih pregovora, iako su čelnici obje strane javno pokazali veoma malo volje za razgovor nakon više od dva tjedna borbi.

Žestoka bombardiranja također su odjekivala u susjednim gradovima Omdurman i Bahri.

U međuvremenu su Ujedinjeni narodi u srijedu izvršili pritisak na sudanske zaraćene strane da zajamče siguran prolaz humanitarne pomoći nakon što je šest kamiona opljačkano, a zračni napadi u glavnom gradu potkopali primirje.
