Arheološki radovi na seoskom groblju u blizini naselja Pien u Poljskoj doveli su do otkrića kostura starog četiri stoljeća, koji je stručnjacima zanimljiv iz više razloga.

Uz pronađen kostur pokojnice, pronađena je, naime, i svilena kapa koja ukazuje da je nekoć uživala visok status u zajednici. Osim toga, primjetan je izbijen prednji zub i srp oko vrata, koji ukazuje na prastaro vjerovanje da se pokojnik može "povampiriti".

Profesor Dariusz Polinski sa Sveučilišta Nikola Kopernik, koji je ujedno i voditelj iskapanja, objasnio je da to pouzdano znaju jer srp nije bio položen uz pokojnicu, već joj je bio stavljen na vrat kako bi joj odsjekao glavu ako pokuša ustati iz groba, prenosi National Geographic.

Vampiri su već nekoliko stoljeća sastavni dio europskog folklora, no tijekom 17. i 18. stoljeća strah od ovih mitoloških bića proširio se s Balkana i od tada se šire priče o bićima koja posjećuju svoje najmilije i uzrokuju im nesreću i smrt.

Europljani su stoga u ranijim stoljećima razvili niz rituala "liječenja" svojih mrtvih kako bi spriječili pojavu vampira, a u narodu je još uvijek živa priča o mrtvacima koji će se uz pomoć kandži izvući iz groba kao krvopijska čudovišta i maltretirati žive.

Stoga ne čudi da su ti rituali bili poznati i u cijeloj Poljskoj u 17. stoljeću, a najnoviji nalaz to potvrđuje.

Poznate su i "antivampirske" metode koje uključuju probijanje šipke kroz kostur pokojnika, no u ovom konkretnom slučaju ženi je stavljen srp preko vrata, a iz predostrožnosti joj je stavljen i lokot na nožni prst. Polinski je objasnio da lokot pričvršćen na lijevu nogu najvjerojatnije simbolizira "zatvaranje i nemogućnost vraćanja pokojnika".

Arheološki radovi na seoskom groblju u blizini naselja Pien u Poljskoj doveli su do otkrića kostura starog četiri stoljeća, koji je stručnjacima zanimljiv iz više razloga.

Uz pronađen kostur pokojnice, pronađena je, naime, i svilena kapa koja ukazuje da je nekoć uživala visok status u zajednici. Osim toga, primjetan je izbijen prednji zub i srp oko vrata, koji ukazuje na prastaro vjerovanje da se pokojnik može "povampiriti".

Profesor Dariusz Polinski sa Sveučilišta Nikola Kopernik, koji je ujedno i voditelj iskapanja, objasnio je da to pouzdano znaju jer srp nije bio položen uz pokojnicu, već joj je bio stavljen na vrat kako bi joj odsjekao glavu ako pokuša ustati iz groba, prenosi National Geographic.

Vampiri su već nekoliko stoljeća sastavni dio europskog folklora, no tijekom 17. i 18. stoljeća strah od ovih mitoloških bića proširio se s Balkana i od tada se šire priče o bićima koja posjećuju svoje najmilije i uzrokuju im nesreću i smrt.

Europljani su stoga u ranijim stoljećima razvili niz rituala "liječenja" svojih mrtvih kako bi spriječili pojavu vampira, a u narodu je još uvijek živa priča o mrtvacima koji će se uz pomoć kandži izvući iz groba kao krvopijska čudovišta i maltretirati žive.

Stoga ne čudi da su ti rituali bili poznati i u cijeloj Poljskoj u 17. stoljeću, a najnoviji nalaz to potvrđuje.

Poznate su i "antivampirske" metode koje uključuju probijanje šipke kroz kostur pokojnika, no u ovom konkretnom slučaju ženi je stavljen srp preko vrata, a iz predostrožnosti joj je stavljen i lokot na nožni prst. Polinski je objasnio da lokot pričvršćen na lijevu nogu najvjerojatnije simbolizira "zatvaranje i nemogućnost vraćanja pokojnika".

U Poljskoj pronađen kostur ‘vampirice‘ iz 17. stoljeća, izašle i slike: Na vratu je imala srp, a na nozi katanac, a to nisu jedini jezivi antivampirski rituali...

Arheološki radovi na seoskom groblju u blizini naselja Pien u Poljskoj doveli su do otkrića kostura starog četiri stoljeća, koji je stručnjacima zanimljiv iz više razloga.

Uz pronađen kostur pokojnice, pronađena je, naime, i svilena kapa koja ukazuje da je nekoć uživala visok status u zajednici. Osim toga, primjetan je izbijen prednji zub i srp oko vrata, koji ukazuje na prastaro vjerovanje da se pokojnik može "povampiriti".

Profesor Dariusz Polinski sa Sveučilišta Nikola Kopernik, koji je ujedno i voditelj iskapanja, objasnio je da to pouzdano znaju jer srp nije bio položen uz pokojnicu, već joj je bio stavljen na vrat kako bi joj odsjekao glavu ako pokuša ustati iz groba, prenosi National Geographic.
