    Puzajuće rusko napredovanje u Donbasu zasjenilo je bitku na jugu ove zemlje, dijelu koji je Ukrajina nedavno osigurala. Već puna dva mjeseca, dok se veći i smrtonosniji sukobi odvijaju na istoku, permanentno traju i manje fatalni sukobi na rijeci Dnjepar u blizini Hersona, grada kojega je Ukrajina vratila pod svoju kontrolu u studenome.

    Otkako su se evakuirali preko rijeke, Rusi stalno šalju povremenu topničku i minobacačku vatru na sam Herson. Umjesto odgovora, ukrajinske snage pokušavaju poduzeti male pomorske operacije i desante na neke od riječnih otoka, kako bi uspostavile kontrolu i potisnule rusko topništvo od 122 i 152 mm na lijevoj obali dalje od dometa. Bitka za riječne ade je kaotična i nalik na klackalicu: stalni su diverzantski upadi na ove djeliće kopna, s obje strane. Rusi znaju vršiti iznenadne minobacačke napade na Herson i ukrajinske položaje s tih otoka, a Ukrajinci ih nastoje u tome onemogućiti.

      Akcije su prilično intenzivne. U posljednja 24 sata grad Herson je, primjerice, bio pogođen ruskom vatrom čak sedam puta, a regija oko Hersona ukupno 54 puta, objavio je savjetnik uprave Hersonske oblasti Sergej Khlan. Moskovski osvajači svjesno uništavaju stambene objekte i kritičnu infrastrukturu te djeluju i nakon razaranja, kako bi anulirali mogućnost gašenja požara ili pružanja medicinske skrbi ranjenima.

    Ukrajinske trupe pokušale su jučer svoj iznenadni napad na otok, tvrde ruski vojni blogeri i službeni ruski državni mediji. Iako se detalji o tim akcijama razlikuju, izvještaji se uglavnom poklapaju s onima iz ukrajinskih izvora i govore o žestokoj borbi na otocima.

    "Oko 9 sati ujutro 31. siječnja 2023. neprijatelj se iskrcao na našu obalu Dnjepra iz tri čamca i ukopao se u najbližim kućama, izvijestio je proruski Telegram kanal "Dva majora". Ruska raketna i topovska artiljerija odmah je otpočela djelovati po neprijatelju. Prema ovom izvoru, ruski topnici "popravljali" su područje „više sat i pol". Javili su i da to nije bio usamljeni ukrajinski napad, jer je neprijatelj prethodno barem tri puta pokušavao iskrcati se na otok blizu lijeve obale, snagama procijenjenim na jednu satniju taktičke grupe.

     Ukrajinski vojni savjetnik Andrij Ryzenko je također priznao da se dogodio još jedan pokušaj zauzimanja otoka. Riječne ade na Dnjepru nazvao je "sivom zonom" nad kojom nijedna strana dosad nije uspostavila čvrstu kontrolu. Ukrajinske trupe izvode česte riječne sabotaže i munjevite napade. Ukrajinska obrambena obavještajna uprava objavila je da je jedan takav napad njihova vojska 24. siječnja izvela noću, u području Nove Kahovke, uzvodnije od Hersona.  

      Forsiranje Dnjepra velikim snagama i prelazak rijeke korištenjem pontonskih mostova trenutno je "nemoguća misija" zbog intenzivnog ruskog granatiranja s lijeve obale. I sami Rusi su se našli pod velikom ukrajinskom vatrom pokušavajući prijeći rijeku prošle jeseni.

     "Ne želiš biti vozač tenka koji prelazi ogromnu rijeku na privremenom mostu koji lebdi na teglenicama, a Rusi vas pritom pokušavaju gađati topništvom. Brz prelazak i prebacivanje brigade s desne na lijevu obalu je trenutno nemoguće“ – tvrdi ukrajinski vojni savjetnik Ryzenko za portal The War Zone. Trenutno je tako, ali stanje ne isključuje nastavak pokušaja Ukrajine da preuzme kontrolu nad otocima preko rijeke Dnjepar. To bi im ne samo znatno umanjilo rusku topničku vatru po Hersonu, nego i omogućilo skoriji prelazak rijeke i nastavak širih manevarskih operacija na njenoj lijevoj obali i dalje prema istoku.

    Puzajuće rusko napredovanje u Donbasu zasjenilo je bitku na jugu ove zemlje, dijelu koji je Ukrajina nedavno osigurala. Već puna dva mjeseca, dok se veći i smrtonosniji sukobi odvijaju na istoku, permanentno traju i manje fatalni sukobi na rijeci Dnjepar u blizini Hersona, grada kojega je Ukrajina vratila pod svoju kontrolu u studenome.

    Otkako su se evakuirali preko rijeke, Rusi stalno šalju povremenu topničku i minobacačku vatru na sam Herson. Umjesto odgovora, ukrajinske snage pokušavaju poduzeti male pomorske operacije i desante na neke od riječnih otoka, kako bi uspostavile kontrolu i potisnule rusko topništvo od 122 i 152 mm na lijevoj obali dalje od dometa. Bitka za riječne ade je kaotična i nalik na klackalicu: stalni su diverzantski upadi na ove djeliće kopna, s obje strane. Rusi znaju vršiti iznenadne minobacačke napade na Herson i ukrajinske položaje s tih otoka, a Ukrajinci ih nastoje u tome onemogućiti.

      Akcije su prilično intenzivne. U posljednja 24 sata grad Herson je, primjerice, bio pogođen ruskom vatrom čak sedam puta, a regija oko Hersona ukupno 54 puta, objavio je savjetnik uprave Hersonske oblasti Sergej Khlan. Moskovski osvajači svjesno uništavaju stambene objekte i kritičnu infrastrukturu te djeluju i nakon razaranja, kako bi anulirali mogućnost gašenja požara ili pružanja medicinske skrbi ranjenima.

    Ukrajinske trupe pokušale su jučer svoj iznenadni napad na otok, tvrde ruski vojni blogeri i službeni ruski državni mediji. Iako se detalji o tim akcijama razlikuju, izvještaji se uglavnom poklapaju s onima iz ukrajinskih izvora i govore o žestokoj borbi na otocima.

    "Oko 9 sati ujutro 31. siječnja 2023. neprijatelj se iskrcao na našu obalu Dnjepra iz tri čamca i ukopao se u najbližim kućama, izvijestio je proruski Telegram kanal "Dva majora". Ruska raketna i topovska artiljerija odmah je otpočela djelovati po neprijatelju. Prema ovom izvoru, ruski topnici "popravljali" su područje „više sat i pol". Javili su i da to nije bio usamljeni ukrajinski napad, jer je neprijatelj prethodno barem tri puta pokušavao iskrcati se na otok blizu lijeve obale, snagama procijenjenim na jednu satniju taktičke grupe.

     Ukrajinski vojni savjetnik Andrij Ryzenko je također priznao da se dogodio još jedan pokušaj zauzimanja otoka. Riječne ade na Dnjepru nazvao je "sivom zonom" nad kojom nijedna strana dosad nije uspostavila čvrstu kontrolu. Ukrajinske trupe izvode česte riječne sabotaže i munjevite napade. Ukrajinska obrambena obavještajna uprava objavila je da je jedan takav napad njihova vojska 24. siječnja izvela noću, u području Nove Kahovke, uzvodnije od Hersona.  

      Forsiranje Dnjepra velikim snagama i prelazak rijeke korištenjem pontonskih mostova trenutno je "nemoguća misija" zbog intenzivnog ruskog granatiranja s lijeve obale. I sami Rusi su se našli pod velikom ukrajinskom vatrom pokušavajući prijeći rijeku prošle jeseni.

     "Ne želiš biti vozač tenka koji prelazi ogromnu rijeku na privremenom mostu koji lebdi na teglenicama, a Rusi vas pritom pokušavaju gađati topništvom. Brz prelazak i prebacivanje brigade s desne na lijevu obalu je trenutno nemoguće“ – tvrdi ukrajinski vojni savjetnik Ryzenko za portal The War Zone. Trenutno je tako, ali stanje ne isključuje nastavak pokušaja Ukrajine da preuzme kontrolu nad otocima preko rijeke Dnjepar. To bi im ne samo znatno umanjilo rusku topničku vatru po Hersonu, nego i omogućilo skoriji prelazak rijeke i nastavak širih manevarskih operacija na njenoj lijevoj obali i dalje prema istoku.
