Mladi 22-godišnji hrvatski gimnastičar Anton Kovačević doživio je težak pad pri saskoku u finalu natjecanja na preči na Europskom prvenstvu u Cluj-Napoci, a do tog je trenutka bio u konkurenciji za odličje.

Nažalost, Kovačević je kod saskoka izgubio hvat na preči te nije uspio doskočiti i pri padu je ozlijedio desno koljeno. Nesretnom hrvatskom gimnastičaru odmah je u pomoć priskočila liječnička ekipa, koja mu je imobilizirala ozlijeđenu nogu.

Umjesto prema pobjedničkom postolju, Kovačević je uz gromoglasan pljesak s prepunih tribina dvorane u Cluj-Napoci odšepao prema svlačionici osvojivši sedmo mjesto u finalu s ocjenom 13.066. Iza našeg reprezentativca ostao je Ukrajinac Oleg Vernjajev (11.700) koji je dvaput padao sa sprave.

Naslov europskog prvaka osvojio je Švicarac Pablo Braegger (14.933), ispred svog sunarodnjaka Olivera Hegija (14.500). Bronca je pripala Rusu Davidu Beljavskiju (14.366) koji je za samo 33 tisućinke nadmašio Britanca Jamesa Halla (14.333) i Francuza Edgara Bouleta (14.333).

Ukrajinac Vernjajev posljednjeg je dana Europskog prvenstva osvojio zlato na ručama (15.466), a Rus Artur Dalalojan najbolji je bio u preskoku (14.993).

Rumunjka Catalina Ponor (14.566) po peti je put postala europskom prvakinjom na gredi, a na tlu je slavila Ruskinja Angelina Melnjikova (14.100).

Mladi 22-godišnji hrvatski gimnastičar Anton Kovačević doživio je težak pad pri saskoku u finalu natjecanja na preči na Europskom prvenstvu u Cluj-Napoci, a do tog je trenutka bio u konkurenciji za odličje.

Nažalost, Kovačević je kod saskoka izgubio hvat na preči te nije uspio doskočiti i pri padu je ozlijedio desno koljeno. Nesretnom hrvatskom gimnastičaru odmah je u pomoć priskočila liječnička ekipa, koja mu je imobilizirala ozlijeđenu nogu.

Umjesto prema pobjedničkom postolju, Kovačević je uz gromoglasan pljesak s prepunih tribina dvorane u Cluj-Napoci odšepao prema svlačionici osvojivši sedmo mjesto u finalu s ocjenom 13.066. Iza našeg reprezentativca ostao je Ukrajinac Oleg Vernjajev (11.700) koji je dvaput padao sa sprave.

Naslov europskog prvaka osvojio je Švicarac Pablo Braegger (14.933), ispred svog sunarodnjaka Olivera Hegija (14.500). Bronca je pripala Rusu Davidu Beljavskiju (14.366) koji je za samo 33 tisućinke nadmašio Britanca Jamesa Halla (14.333) i Francuza Edgara Bouleta (14.333).

Ukrajinac Vernjajev posljednjeg je dana Europskog prvenstva osvojio zlato na ručama (15.466), a Rus Artur Dalalojan najbolji je bio u preskoku (14.993).

Rumunjka Catalina Ponor (14.566) po peti je put postala europskom prvakinjom na gredi, a na tlu je slavila Ruskinja Angelina Melnjikova (14.100).
