U ponedjeljak su cijene dionica na Wall Streetu osjetno pale, jer je u prvi plan ponovno izbila kreditna kriza nakon što je Standard & Poor's smanjio rejtinge trima velikim brokerskim kućama.

Dow Jones indeks potonuo je 1,06 posto, na 12.503 boda, dok je S&P indeks pao 1,05 posto, na 1.385 bodova. Nasdaq indeks izgubio je, pak, 1,23 posto, te pao na 2.491 bod.

Pad cijena dionica u financijskom sektoru uslijedio je nakon što je agencija S&P's smanjila rejting Lehman Brothersu, Morgan Stanleyu i Merrill Lynchu, uz obrazloženje da su te brokerske kuće, koje su dosad otpisale oko 350 milijardi dolara nenaplativih potraživanja, još uvijek ranjive.

Cijena dionice Lehmana potonula je više od 8 posto, Merilla 3, a Morgan Stanleya 2,5 posto.

Wachovia, četvrta po veličini američka banka, objavila je, pak, kako je smijenjen njezin izvršni direktor Ken Thompson zbog sudskih tužbi i golemih gubitaka nastalih za vrijeme krize na tržištu hipotekarnih kredita. Kako se ulagači plaše da je to samo najava daljnjih loših vijesti, cijena dionice te banke pala je 1,7 posto.

Lošem raspoloženju na tržištu pridonijeli su i pesimistični gospodarski podaci. Industrijska proizvodnja u SAD-u pala je u svibnju već četvrti mjesec zaredom, dok su inflacijski pritisci dosegnuli najvišu razinu u četiri godine.

I na europskim su burzama u ponedjeljak cijene dionica pale. FTSE indeks Londonske burze pao je 0,8 posto, na 6.007 bodova, dok je na Frankfurtskoj burzi DAX indeks potonuo 1,24 posto, na 7.008 bodova.

U ponedjeljak su cijene dionica na Wall Streetu osjetno pale, jer je u prvi plan ponovno izbila kreditna kriza nakon što je Standard & Poor's smanjio rejtinge trima velikim brokerskim kućama.

Dow Jones indeks potonuo je 1,06 posto, na 12.503 boda, dok je S&P indeks pao 1,05 posto, na 1.385 bodova. Nasdaq indeks izgubio je, pak, 1,23 posto, te pao na 2.491 bod.

Pad cijena dionica u financijskom sektoru uslijedio je nakon što je agencija S&P's smanjila rejting Lehman Brothersu, Morgan Stanleyu i Merrill Lynchu, uz obrazloženje da su te brokerske kuće, koje su dosad otpisale oko 350 milijardi dolara nenaplativih potraživanja, još uvijek ranjive.

Cijena dionice Lehmana potonula je više od 8 posto, Merilla 3, a Morgan Stanleya 2,5 posto.

Wachovia, četvrta po veličini američka banka, objavila je, pak, kako je smijenjen njezin izvršni direktor Ken Thompson zbog sudskih tužbi i golemih gubitaka nastalih za vrijeme krize na tržištu hipotekarnih kredita. Kako se ulagači plaše da je to samo najava daljnjih loših vijesti, cijena dionice te banke pala je 1,7 posto.

Lošem raspoloženju na tržištu pridonijeli su i pesimistični gospodarski podaci. Industrijska proizvodnja u SAD-u pala je u svibnju već četvrti mjesec zaredom, dok su inflacijski pritisci dosegnuli najvišu razinu u četiri godine.

I na europskim su burzama u ponedjeljak cijene dionica pale. FTSE indeks Londonske burze pao je 0,8 posto, na 6.007 bodova, dok je na Frankfurtskoj burzi DAX indeks potonuo 1,24 posto, na 7.008 bodova.
