Na međunarodnoj konferenciji "Upravljanje katastrofama", koja je u četvrtak održana u Splitu, seizmolog Krešimir Kuk je rekao da je lani u Hrvatskoj zabilježeno više od 16 tisuća potresa, a kao najaktivnija seizmološka područja istaknuo je Dalmaciju te šire zagrebačko i riječko područje.

Riječ je o dvodnevnoj konferenciji koju su organizirali Splitsko-dalmatinska županija, Upravni odjel za hrvatske branitelje, civilnu zaštitu i ljudska prava i Javna ustanova R​era S.D. za koordinaciju i razvoj Splitsko-dalmatinske županije. 

Konferencija je održana u sklopu provedbe projekta F​ireSpill, financiranog iz europskog programa prekogranične suradnje ​Interreg Italija - Hrvatska, a okupila je stotinjak sudionika, predstavnika regionalnih i lokalnih vlasti, razvojnih agencija, znanstvene zajednice, institucija i spasilačkih službi uključenih u rješavanje kriznih situacija iz Hrvatske i Italije. ​

Na konferenciji je najviše bilo riječi o potresima kao jednoj od najaktualnijih kriznih situacija  u Hrvatskoj i Italiji.  Potresi u Zagrebu i na Banovini otvorili su mnoge stručne rasprave i pitanja o trusnim područjima Hrvatske, od mogućnostima njihova predviđanja i preventivne zaštite do upravljanja krizom nastalom zbog njegovih razornih posljedica.

​Proračun FireSpill projekta je 120 milijuna kuna, od čega se oko 65 milijuna kuna odnosi na aktivnosti u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji u sklopu kojih će se u Vučevici izgraditi najveći centar za vježbe vatrogasaca u ovom dijelu Europe - Nastavno regionalno središte za osposobljavanje operativnih snaga sustava vatrogastva.

Seizmolog Krešimir Kuk govorio je o vezi seizmologije i građevinarstva.

Rekao je da je najugroženije južno priobalje, to jest Dalmacija, pa šire zagrebačko i šire riječko područje. Na godinu na području Hrvatske bude nekoliko desetaka tisuća potresa, prošle ih je godine bilo više od 16 tisuća bez onih manjih, koji nisu analizirani zbog nedovoljnog broja seizmoloških instrumenata.

Seizmolozi znaju, rekao je, da je konkretno za područje južne Dalmacije očekivana magnituda čak i više od sedam prema Richteru, no kada će se potres dogoditi, to nitko ne može znati. 

"Moramo preventivno raditi, biti svjesni gdje su potresi mogući. Znamo kolika je njihova maksimalna jačina, a stjecajem okolnosti dobar dio stanovništva zna i kako se ponašati za vrijeme potresa. Ono što je jako važno je da moramo graditi protupotresno jer je to osnova i to će nas najviše zaštititi, prvo ljudske živote, a onda i industriju, privredu i sve drugo. Danas je to u svijetu normalna stvar, pa tako potresi u nekim razvijenijim zemljama koji su i jači od naših prođu s malom pažnjom jer ne bude žrtava i materijalnih šteta", objasnio je Kuk.

Rekao je i da je zgrade koje su građene prije mnogo godina moguće ojačati, a ono što se novo gradi treba graditi po suvremenim protupotresnim mjerama.

Glavni vatrogasni zapovjednik Slavko Tucaković pohvalio je projekt koji provodi Splitsko-dalmatinska županija i nazvao ga je pogledom u budućnost. Vjeruje da će budući centar za vježbu postati centar izvrsnosti za cijelu Europu, pogotovo za južnu Europu. 

"Gledam ga kao jedan obučni centar, ali i centar logistike koji će koristiti u svakom trenutku. Imamo iskustva iz potresa, poplava, požara, tuče, grmljavinskog nevremena i zapravo razgovor i suradnja svih ovih službi je najbitnija, a važno je i da se svijest razvija kod građana, posebno u jedinicama lokalnih, područnih samouprava jer potresi, požari, poplave i sve nedaće se javljaju tamo gdje ljudi žive i rade i zato je to vrlo bitno", poručio je Tucaković.

Potpredsjednik Hrvatskoga crvenog križa Željko Grubišić pozvao je dobrovoljne darivatelje krvi i građane da se uključe u akcije darivanja krvi, ističući da smo svjedoci kako je na dan potresa u Petrinji 800 ljudi u Zagrebu samoinicijativno darivalo krv, a to volonterstvo u katastrofama, dodao je, trebalo bi se prenijeti i na svakodnevne akcije darivanja krvi.

Profesor emeritus sa splitskog Fakulteta građevinarstva, arhitekture i geodezije Ante Mihanović rekao je odgovarajući na pitanje novinara da su najsigurnije novije zgrade, koje mogu izdržati mnogo više od onoga što se očekuje, no, dodao je, ima i gradnji koje su u prošlosti jako kvalitetno građene.

Drži kako je u prometu više poginulih nego u potresima, a opasnost od njih je materijalna šteta.

Na pitanje bi li kampanel konkatedrale sv. Duje izdržao jači potres, odgovorio je kako je on vrlo siguran i za puno jače potrese od onih koji se očekuju na tom području.

Na međunarodnoj konferenciji "Upravljanje katastrofama", koja je u četvrtak održana u Splitu, seizmolog Krešimir Kuk je rekao da je lani u Hrvatskoj zabilježeno više od 16 tisuća potresa, a kao najaktivnija seizmološka područja istaknuo je Dalmaciju te šire zagrebačko i riječko područje.

Riječ je o dvodnevnoj konferenciji koju su organizirali Splitsko-dalmatinska županija, Upravni odjel za hrvatske branitelje, civilnu zaštitu i ljudska prava i Javna ustanova R​era S.D. za koordinaciju i razvoj Splitsko-dalmatinske županije. 

Konferencija je održana u sklopu provedbe projekta F​ireSpill, financiranog iz europskog programa prekogranične suradnje ​Interreg Italija - Hrvatska, a okupila je stotinjak sudionika, predstavnika regionalnih i lokalnih vlasti, razvojnih agencija, znanstvene zajednice, institucija i spasilačkih službi uključenih u rješavanje kriznih situacija iz Hrvatske i Italije. ​

Na konferenciji je najviše bilo riječi o potresima kao jednoj od najaktualnijih kriznih situacija  u Hrvatskoj i Italiji.  Potresi u Zagrebu i na Banovini otvorili su mnoge stručne rasprave i pitanja o trusnim područjima Hrvatske, od mogućnostima njihova predviđanja i preventivne zaštite do upravljanja krizom nastalom zbog njegovih razornih posljedica.

​Proračun FireSpill projekta je 120 milijuna kuna, od čega se oko 65 milijuna kuna odnosi na aktivnosti u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji u sklopu kojih će se u Vučevici izgraditi najveći centar za vježbe vatrogasaca u ovom dijelu Europe - Nastavno regionalno središte za osposobljavanje operativnih snaga sustava vatrogastva.

Seizmolog Krešimir Kuk govorio je o vezi seizmologije i građevinarstva.

Rekao je da je najugroženije južno priobalje, to jest Dalmacija, pa šire zagrebačko i šire riječko područje. Na godinu na području Hrvatske bude nekoliko desetaka tisuća potresa, prošle ih je godine bilo više od 16 tisuća bez onih manjih, koji nisu analizirani zbog nedovoljnog broja seizmoloških instrumenata.

Seizmolozi znaju, rekao je, da je konkretno za područje južne Dalmacije očekivana magnituda čak i više od sedam prema Richteru, no kada će se potres dogoditi, to nitko ne može znati. 

"Moramo preventivno raditi, biti svjesni gdje su potresi mogući. Znamo kolika je njihova maksimalna jačina, a stjecajem okolnosti dobar dio stanovništva zna i kako se ponašati za vrijeme potresa. Ono što je jako važno je da moramo graditi protupotresno jer je to osnova i to će nas najviše zaštititi, prvo ljudske živote, a onda i industriju, privredu i sve drugo. Danas je to u svijetu normalna stvar, pa tako potresi u nekim razvijenijim zemljama koji su i jači od naših prođu s malom pažnjom jer ne bude žrtava i materijalnih šteta", objasnio je Kuk.

Rekao je i da je zgrade koje su građene prije mnogo godina moguće ojačati, a ono što se novo gradi treba graditi po suvremenim protupotresnim mjerama.

Glavni vatrogasni zapovjednik Slavko Tucaković pohvalio je projekt koji provodi Splitsko-dalmatinska županija i nazvao ga je pogledom u budućnost. Vjeruje da će budući centar za vježbu postati centar izvrsnosti za cijelu Europu, pogotovo za južnu Europu. 

"Gledam ga kao jedan obučni centar, ali i centar logistike koji će koristiti u svakom trenutku. Imamo iskustva iz potresa, poplava, požara, tuče, grmljavinskog nevremena i zapravo razgovor i suradnja svih ovih službi je najbitnija, a važno je i da se svijest razvija kod građana, posebno u jedinicama lokalnih, područnih samouprava jer potresi, požari, poplave i sve nedaće se javljaju tamo gdje ljudi žive i rade i zato je to vrlo bitno", poručio je Tucaković.

Potpredsjednik Hrvatskoga crvenog križa Željko Grubišić pozvao je dobrovoljne darivatelje krvi i građane da se uključe u akcije darivanja krvi, ističući da smo svjedoci kako je na dan potresa u Petrinji 800 ljudi u Zagrebu samoinicijativno darivalo krv, a to volonterstvo u katastrofama, dodao je, trebalo bi se prenijeti i na svakodnevne akcije darivanja krvi.

Profesor emeritus sa splitskog Fakulteta građevinarstva, arhitekture i geodezije Ante Mihanović rekao je odgovarajući na pitanje novinara da su najsigurnije novije zgrade, koje mogu izdržati mnogo više od onoga što se očekuje, no, dodao je, ima i gradnji koje su u prošlosti jako kvalitetno građene.

Drži kako je u prometu više poginulih nego u potresima, a opasnost od njih je materijalna šteta.

Na pitanje bi li kampanel konkatedrale sv. Duje izdržao jači potres, odgovorio je kako je on vrlo siguran i za puno jače potrese od onih koji se očekuju na tom području.

Na međunarodnoj konferenciji "Upravljanje katastrofama", koja je u četvrtak održana u Splitu, seizmolog Krešimir Kuk je rekao da je lani u Hrvatskoj zabilježeno više od 16 tisuća potresa, a kao najaktivnija seizmološka područja istaknuo je Dalmaciju te šire zagrebačko i riječko područje.

Riječ je o dvodnevnoj konferenciji koju su organizirali Splitsko-dalmatinska županija, Upravni odjel za hrvatske branitelje, civilnu zaštitu i ljudska prava i Javna ustanova R​era S.D. za koordinaciju i razvoj Splitsko-dalmatinske županije.
