Gradonačelnik Bihaća Šuhret Fazlić odbio je u srijedu u razgovoru s voditeljem Izaslanstva Europske unije u BiH Johannom Sattlerom mogućnost da se ilegalni migranti smjeste u kamp Bira u ovom gradu iako ima najbolje uvjete te je potpuno izgrađen i opremljen sredstvima Unije.

"Grad Bihać je tri godine bio dio rješenja problema migrantske krize i spremni smo aktivno sudjelovati u zbrinjavanju migranata koji nemaju primjeren smještaj, ali Bira ni u kojem slučaju ne može biti ponovno korištena kao migrantski kamp", izjavio je gradonačelnik Fazlić na sastanku kako su u priopćenju prenijeli iz Grada Bihaća.

Sattler je u pratnji veleposlanica Njemačke i Austrije Margret Uebber i Ulrike Hartmann posjetio tijekom dana šatorski kamp kod sela Lipa nedaleko Bihaća, te razgovarao s gradonačelnikom Fazlićem.

Pri tome su sugovornici ocijenili kako je potrebno poboljšati uvjete za boravak u kampu Lipa kako bi se zbrinuli i preostali ilegalni migranata koji i dalje borave na otvorenom i napuštenim prostorima.

Kamp Bira nalazi se u samome Bihaću zbog čega je veliki broj stanovnika ovoga grada tražio izmiještanje migranata i zatvaranje kampa.

Nedavno je potpuno protivljenje smještaju migranata na područje Republike Srpske izrazio predsjedavajući BiH Predsjedništva Milorad Dodik.

Smrzavaju se na otvorenome

Oko 200 ilegalnih migranata nedavno je, nakon više od dva tjedna, dobilo privremeni smještaj u šatorima postavljenim kod sela Lipa u blizini Bihaća, a vojnici i pripadnici Crvenog križa BiH nastojali su osigurati smještaj za još nekoliko stotina ljudi koji se danima smrzavaju boraveći na otvorenome.

Migranti su ostali bez smještaja nakon što je u požaru izgorio privremeni prihvatni centar kojim je upravljala Međunarodna organizacija za migracije (IOM). Njih više od 900 tada je ostalo bez bilo kakve skrbi, a protekle su dane proveli na razvalinama nekadašnjeg kampa očekujući pomoć lokalnih vlasti i međunarodnih organizacija koje djeluju u BiH.

Vijeće ministara BiH ranije je donijelo odluku kako će u selu Lipa, udaljenom 20-tak km od Bihaća, biti uspostavljen stalni kamp za smještaj migranata koji bi trebao biti opremljen kontejnerima, no procjena je kako će to potrajati najmanje do kraja ožujka.

Na humanitarnu krizu s migrantima reagirao je i visoki predstavnik EU za vanjsku i sigurnosnu politiku Joseph Borell tražeći da se Bira stavi u funkciju. Do sada je EU pomogla BiH s 88 milijuna eura za rješavanje migrantske krize.

Procjene govore da se u BiH nalazi između sedam i devet tisuća migranata. Oko dvije trećine boravi u prihvatnim centrima u Unsko-sanskoj županiji i u okolici Sarajeva, dok ostali pokušavaju prezimiti spavajući u napuštenim objektima, ali i u šumama u blizini granice s Hrvatskom.

Gradonačelnik Bihaća Šuhret Fazlić odbio je u srijedu u razgovoru s voditeljem Izaslanstva Europske unije u BiH Johannom Sattlerom mogućnost da se ilegalni migranti smjeste u kamp Bira u ovom gradu iako ima najbolje uvjete te je potpuno izgrađen i opremljen sredstvima Unije.

"Grad Bihać je tri godine bio dio rješenja problema migrantske krize i spremni smo aktivno sudjelovati u zbrinjavanju migranata koji nemaju primjeren smještaj, ali Bira ni u kojem slučaju ne može biti ponovno korištena kao migrantski kamp", izjavio je gradonačelnik Fazlić na sastanku kako su u priopćenju prenijeli iz Grada Bihaća.

Sattler je u pratnji veleposlanica Njemačke i Austrije Margret Uebber i Ulrike Hartmann posjetio tijekom dana šatorski kamp kod sela Lipa nedaleko Bihaća, te razgovarao s gradonačelnikom Fazlićem.

Pri tome su sugovornici ocijenili kako je potrebno poboljšati uvjete za boravak u kampu Lipa kako bi se zbrinuli i preostali ilegalni migranata koji i dalje borave na otvorenom i napuštenim prostorima.

Kamp Bira nalazi se u samome Bihaću zbog čega je veliki broj stanovnika ovoga grada tražio izmiještanje migranata i zatvaranje kampa.

Nedavno je potpuno protivljenje smještaju migranata na područje Republike Srpske izrazio predsjedavajući BiH Predsjedništva Milorad Dodik.

Smrzavaju se na otvorenome

Oko 200 ilegalnih migranata nedavno je, nakon više od dva tjedna, dobilo privremeni smještaj u šatorima postavljenim kod sela Lipa u blizini Bihaća, a vojnici i pripadnici Crvenog križa BiH nastojali su osigurati smještaj za još nekoliko stotina ljudi koji se danima smrzavaju boraveći na otvorenome.

Migranti su ostali bez smještaja nakon što je u požaru izgorio privremeni prihvatni centar kojim je upravljala Međunarodna organizacija za migracije (IOM). Njih više od 900 tada je ostalo bez bilo kakve skrbi, a protekle su dane proveli na razvalinama nekadašnjeg kampa očekujući pomoć lokalnih vlasti i međunarodnih organizacija koje djeluju u BiH.

Vijeće ministara BiH ranije je donijelo odluku kako će u selu Lipa, udaljenom 20-tak km od Bihaća, biti uspostavljen stalni kamp za smještaj migranata koji bi trebao biti opremljen kontejnerima, no procjena je kako će to potrajati najmanje do kraja ožujka.

Na humanitarnu krizu s migrantima reagirao je i visoki predstavnik EU za vanjsku i sigurnosnu politiku Joseph Borell tražeći da se Bira stavi u funkciju. Do sada je EU pomogla BiH s 88 milijuna eura za rješavanje migrantske krize.

Procjene govore da se u BiH nalazi između sedam i devet tisuća migranata. Oko dvije trećine boravi u prihvatnim centrima u Unsko-sanskoj županiji i u okolici Sarajeva, dok ostali pokušavaju prezimiti spavajući u napuštenim objektima, ali i u šumama u blizini granice s Hrvatskom.

Gradonačelnik Bihaća Šuhret Fazlić odbio je u srijedu u razgovoru s voditeljem Izaslanstva Europske unije u BiH Johannom Sattlerom mogućnost da se ilegalni migranti smjeste u kamp Bira u ovom gradu iako ima najbolje uvjete te je potpuno izgrađen i opremljen sredstvima Unije.

"Grad Bihać je tri godine bio dio rješenja problema migrantske krize i spremni smo aktivno sudjelovati u zbrinjavanju migranata koji nemaju primjeren smještaj, ali Bira ni u kojem slučaju ne može biti ponovno korištena kao migrantski kamp", izjavio je gradonačelnik Fazlić na sastanku kako su u priopćenju prenijeli iz Grada Bihaća.
