Švedska aktivistica Greta Thunberg u subotu je otvoreno iskazala potporu američkom demokratskom predsjedničkom kandidatu Joeu Bidenu, pozvavši birače koji su zabrinuti zbog uništenja okoliša da izađu na izbore i glasaju za njega.

Sedamnaestogodišnjakinja je u tvitu napisala da se nikada miješa u stranačku politiku, no da su "predstojeći američki izbori iznad toga".

"Iz klimatske perspektive sve poduzeto daleko je od dovoljnog, a mnogi među vama, naravno, poduprli su druge kandidate. No dovraga! Organizirajte se se i natjerajte sve da glasaju za #Bidena", napisala je.

Nakon što je Thunberg 2019. proglašena osobom godine po izboru časopisa Time, predsjednik Sjedinjenih Država Donald Trump izrugivao se toj tinejdžerskoj aktivistici, napisavši na Twitteru da bi trebala "poraditi na svojem problemu kontrole gnjeva, a zatim otići pogledati neki dobar stari film s prijateljem/prijateljicom".

Trump je sarkastično komentirao i njezin govor održan prošle godine na UN-ovu summitu o klimatskim promjenama, kada je oštro osudila svjetske čelnike zbog njihova neuspjeha u rješavanju klimatskih promjena.

Thunberg i njezin pokret 'Petkom za budućnost' nominiran je za ovogodišnju Nobelovu nagradu za mir, koja je u petak dodijeljena UN-ovu Svjetskom programu za hranu.

Trump se fokusirao na to da poništi ono što je započeo njegov prethodnik, Barack Obama. Potpisao je uredbu kojom se odbacuje ključna mjera plana Clean Power, a njome se termoelektranama nalaže smanjenje emisije CO2. Ukidajući tu mjeru, istaknuo je da "želi završiti rat protiv ugljena", a da pritom nijednom nije spomenuo klimatske promjene.

Za razliku od njega Biden je fokusiran na novu masovnu zelenu infrastrukturu.

Švedska aktivistica Greta Thunberg u subotu je otvoreno iskazala potporu američkom demokratskom predsjedničkom kandidatu Joeu Bidenu, pozvavši birače koji su zabrinuti zbog uništenja okoliša da izađu na izbore i glasaju za njega.

Sedamnaestogodišnjakinja je u tvitu napisala da se nikada miješa u stranačku politiku, no da su "predstojeći američki izbori iznad toga".

"Iz klimatske perspektive sve poduzeto daleko je od dovoljnog, a mnogi među vama, naravno, poduprli su druge kandidate. No dovraga! Organizirajte se se i natjerajte sve da glasaju za #Bidena", napisala je.

Nakon što je Thunberg 2019. proglašena osobom godine po izboru časopisa Time, predsjednik Sjedinjenih Država Donald Trump izrugivao se toj tinejdžerskoj aktivistici, napisavši na Twitteru da bi trebala "poraditi na svojem problemu kontrole gnjeva, a zatim otići pogledati neki dobar stari film s prijateljem/prijateljicom".

Trump je sarkastično komentirao i njezin govor održan prošle godine na UN-ovu summitu o klimatskim promjenama, kada je oštro osudila svjetske čelnike zbog njihova neuspjeha u rješavanju klimatskih promjena.

Thunberg i njezin pokret 'Petkom za budućnost' nominiran je za ovogodišnju Nobelovu nagradu za mir, koja je u petak dodijeljena UN-ovu Svjetskom programu za hranu.

Trump se fokusirao na to da poništi ono što je započeo njegov prethodnik, Barack Obama. Potpisao je uredbu kojom se odbacuje ključna mjera plana Clean Power, a njome se termoelektranama nalaže smanjenje emisije CO2. Ukidajući tu mjeru, istaknuo je da "želi završiti rat protiv ugljena", a da pritom nijednom nije spomenuo klimatske promjene.

Za razliku od njega Biden je fokusiran na novu masovnu zelenu infrastrukturu.

Švedska aktivistica Greta Thunberg u subotu je otvoreno iskazala potporu američkom demokratskom predsjedničkom kandidatu Joeu Bidenu, pozvavši birače koji su zabrinuti zbog uništenja okoliša da izađu na izbore i glasaju za njega.

Sedamnaestogodišnjakinja je u tvitu napisala da se nikada miješa u stranačku politiku, no da su "predstojeći američki izbori iznad toga".

"Iz klimatske perspektive sve poduzeto daleko je od dovoljnog, a mnogi među vama, naravno, poduprli su druge kandidate. No dovraga! Organizirajte se se i natjerajte sve da glasaju za #Bidena", napisala je.
